Nov 02, 2023
1. What is HD Lace (Film Lace)?
HD lace hair extensions are made of a very thin and even more ventilated swiss lace. They call it film lace because it is the finest in thickness and texture of lace that you can purchase. The lace is pores and can be dyed. However, there is no need as it is translucent in look and will easily melt into your skin for a perfect match.
- What Is Transparent Lace?
This lace is made typically French or Swiss lace. Swiss lace is more commonly used for transparent lace extensions. Transparent lace is very thin lace and ventilated. Also, it is very thin, which will lay more undetectable on your skin to look like your real scalp. The best part is this lace makes for less obvious knots.
Normally, we have four different lace colors, including dark brown, medium brown, light brown, and transparent. So we can choose the right color to better match our own skin tone.
3. What's the Difference between Normal Lace and HD Lace?
The key point we wearing a wig is to make it look as natural as possible. As we can see in the picture attached below, the HD lace (Swiss lace) can melt into our skin much better than normal lace, which can make our hairline looks more natural and less visible.
4. What's the Difference Between HD Lace and Transparent Lace?
As we mentioned above, HD lace is a new kind of lace material, and transparent lace is the normal lace with transparent color.
We often recommend the transparent lace to light skin tone girls, but recently we found that transparent color lace can melt to any skin tone after we bleach the hair knots and glue down the hairline.
But according to the features of the lace material itself, HD lace (Swiss lace) is still more thin, delicate, and transparent than transparent normal lace.
5. Does HD lace tear easy? Is HD lace wig suitable for everyday wear?
HD lace actually is Swiss lace, it's thinner, so it's not as strong as the Korean lace. But it's totally okay for everyday use, and remember don't pluck the hairline or bleaching the knots by yourself. Always go to a licensed hairstylist.
