In order to make wigs, the hair is ventilated strand by strand with a tiny needle on the lace. The hair strand stays securely on the lace through a knot. The visible knots look like tiny seeds. Some people don't mind the knots and many can't stand them. There are many different ways to achieving a flawless lace wig and many experts have their own special technique.

2. What Kind Of Human Hair Wigs Can Be Bleached?

3. Why Bleach Knots On Lace Wigs?

Bleached knots make the hair of wigs appear as if it is growing from the scalp. When hair is tied to the lace, there is a dark knot where the hair is secured. Bleaching or "lightening" the knots reduce the visibility of this knot. This type of process chemically alters the hair. It opens the cuticle and removes the color in an irreversible chemical reaction. On off black and dark brown hair, the knots are lightened to light brown shade. Very light brown and blonde and shades usually do not need bleached knots. It is difficult to bleach knots on jet black hair wig.

4.Pros And Cons Of Bleach Knots

6. How To Bleach Knots On Black Human Hair Wigs?

Step 1: Turn Over the Wigs And Pin It Down To A Foam Head

Turn the lace part of the wig inside out and pin it down to a foam head. And if your lace human hair wig has baby hairs, pin them down with clips to make sure they are out of the way.

Step 2: Apply Bleach Mixture

Mix equal parts professional developer and bleach powder in a mixing bowl. Be sure to stir thoroughly until you achieve the desired consistency, or until there are no lumps in the bowl.

Step 3: Dab The Bleach Onto The Lace Gently

With your mixing brush, dab the bleach onto the lace gently. If you put too much pressure on the lace, the bleach mixture will leak through and bleach the hair.

Step 4: Cover The Lace Front Wigs In The Aluminum Foil

Make sure you apply enough bleach to the lace to ensure you are bleaching all of the knots. Once you're done applying the bleach, cover the lace front wig in the aluminum foil.

Step 5: Rinse The Bleach Out In Time

Make sure you keep the bleach on until the knots on the lace aren't noticeable anymore. Wait until the knots turn a honey blonde color then rinse the bleach out. This is very important because you want to wait until your lace becomes blonde, or you will have a brassy lace wig. Rinse the lace upside down quickly to avoid getting mixture onto the hair.

Step 6: Wash And Condition The Lace Wig

After you rinse your lace out, wash it with a neutralizing shampoo to stop the chemical processing. Leave the shampoo on closure for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse out. Afterward, condition your lace wig to keep it from getting dried out.

Step 7: Drying Your Natural Human Hair Lace Wig

Do not dry your human hair lace wig with a blow dryer. It can dry out and damage the hair and lace top. Gently squeeze excess water from the wig and use dry towel to suck additional water in the hair(do not twist or wring). Allow the human hair wig to air dry naturally.

Place it to a ventilated place, avoid damage to hair caused by sun exposure. Do not place your virgin hair wig close to high temperatures.

Make sure all the baby hair is out of the way before you begin bleaching your lace wig.

Keep the bleach on until all the knots aren't noticeable anymore.
